Functioning as a comprehensive learning center, the company provides holistic STEM education to students of all age groups. The center operates from two locations: Holly Springs, North Carolina and Staten Island, New York.

As Samara Cuccurullo, co-founder of Resource Room, puts it, “The avenues of critical thinking and executive functioning are rarely explored in traditional learning setups because they require personalized one-on-one attention. So, we focus on providing STEM principles that are integral to their educational as well as personal growth, fostering skills that go beyond the classroom and prepare them for real-world challenges.”

Working closely with schools, Resource Room provides targeted, individualized and engaging learning to students that complement classroom teaching. The company organizes camps during school vacations, providing programs around different branches of STEAM. Resource Room’s camps inspire students to engage in paper bag science experiments using common household items, providing a hands-on learning experience reminiscent of traditional science labs.

For emerging learners, it provides story stations for Lego explorations along with basic fundamental teaching. The company delves into gaming education, offering classes for an interactive experience where students collaborate to explore the creative aspects of their beloved games. The programs are designed to cultivate teamwork, enhance design proficiency and introduce students to fresh perspectives surrounding their favorite pastime.

The company’s most popular “back-to-basics” STEM program focuses on experiments without screens and wires. This strategy nurtures curiosity while making STEM education relatable and enjoyable for all. Resource Room acts as a one-stop-shop for students, providing private tutoring, homework tutoring, SATs, ACTs, college essays and STEM education.
